It’s not too early to start thinking about how you will participate for progress during the 2021 Global Week for Action on NCDs! Ahead of this year's campaign from 6-12 September, we will be calling on everyone to act to help ensure that noncommunicable diseases prevention and care get the attention and action they deserve, everywhere, for everyone. In 2021, we are uniting under the theme of community engagement.

PEOPLE. PARTICIPATION. PROGRESS.

Everyone is affected by NCDs in some way, maybe living with an NCD, caring for someone with an NCD, being at risk of an NCD, or working on preventing or treating NCDs. That’s why every voice matters when we call on governments to step up with meaningful action to reduce preventable suffering, death and disability from NCDs – but our voices and actions are stronger together.

Communities power governments and we all have the right to participate in decisions that affect our lives and our health. Let’s all work together to create healthier societies by reaching out to others, building and strengthening communities, and making our collective voices heard.

We all belong to the NCD community, and this September, we will show that we are a united global movement that demands faster and better action for healthier environments, stronger health systems, and far more equality in the world.

Stay tuned to the website, campaign newsletter and #ActOnNCDs on social media as we share new resources and opportunities to engage over coming months!
