19th FórumCCNTs Meeting
The 19th FórumCCNTs Meeting will take place on 23 and 30 October 2026, bringing together leaders, experts, public health managers, private sector representatives and civil society to discuss key challenges and opportunities related to Chronic Noncommunicable Conditions (NCCs/NCDs) in Brazil.
Across the two-day programme, FórumCCNTs will provide a space for dialogue and collective action on public policies, health promotion, risk reduction, equity and the organisation of care. The programme will address strategic issues for tackling NCCs/NCDs, including Brazil’s current legislative landscape, the first 1,000 days of life and their relationship to health across the life course, the impact of social media and screen use, health literacy and inequalities, as well as priorities for the next National Health Plan (2028–2031).
The meeting will also highlight the importance of intersectoral action and collaboration among different stakeholders to strengthen health policies and programmes and improve cardiovascular health outcomes in Brazil. Experiences and initiatives such as HEARTS and CARDIO, alongside perspectives from the Ministry of Health and CONASS, will contribute to the discussion on models of care and implementation strategies.
In addition to panels and discussions, the meeting will feature a working group session with experts, strengthening participation and the development of concrete proposals to advance the NCC/NCD agenda in Brazil.
The 19th FórumCCNTs Meeting will therefore serve as a platform to connect knowledge, experiences and diverse perspectives, contributing to more effective and sustainable approaches to addressing NCCs/NCDs and improving population health in Brazil.
