FórumCCNTs will host the interactive online event “Cardiovascular Health in Primary Health Care: Early Diagnosis, Biomarkers and Quality Treatment to Prevent Heart Attack and Premature Death” on 28 September 2026, at 2:00 p.m. BRT. The expert meeting aims to:
Understand the structural and specific challenges associated with cardiovascular diseases in Brazil, with particular attention to early diagnosis, emerging biomarkers such as Lp(a), and engagement in self-care.
Learn about the recommendations of the new Brazilian Guideline on Dyslipidemia and Atherosclerosis Prevention (2025) and the Ministry of Health’s strategies for the screening, diagnosis and quality treatment of dyslipidemia in Primary Health Care, as well as the risks associated with delays in implementation.
Bring together key institutions from the public, private and civil society sectors to accelerate progress in cardiovascular health programmes and policies, culminating in the development of a recommendation letter to the Ministry of Health and other authorities.
