80th Session of the UN General Assembly

The 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA 80) is the annual gathering of all 193 Member States of the UN, to be held in New York in 2025.

The session is a critical moment for global diplomacy, as leaders from around the world convene to discuss and address pressing issues affecting the international community.

The UNGA is the principal decision-making body of the UN, and each session provides an opportunity for Member States to collaborate, deliberate, and adopt resolutions on a wide range of global issues.

UNGA 80 will include the 4th UN High-Level Meeting on the Prevention and Control of NCDs and Mental Health (HLM4), a key event focusing on renewing global commitments and accelerating action to prevent and control NCDs by 2030. This session will serve as an important milestone for international cooperation and action on global health challenges.
