The Eastern Mediterranean NCD Alliance (EM-NCDA), in partnership with the Qatar Cancer Society, is planning a convening on the sidelines of the 71st session of the WHO EMRO Regional Committee meeting. This event will take place during October, which is recognized as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, providing a timely opportunity to engage key stakeholders from various sectors across the region. The aim is to drive collaborative efforts and enhance political commitment to ensure that breast cancer early detection remains a central focus on the public health agenda in the Eastern Mediterranean Region (EMR), ultimately improving outcomes for women affected by breast cancer.
