From commitments to delivery

The 2025 UN High-Level Meeting on NCDs and Mental Health renewed political commitments from governments around the world. The challenge now is to turn those commitments into implementation, financing, accountability, and measurable progress in people’s lives.

Keeping leadership, delivery and accountability in focus

This year’s Global Week for Action is all about keeping leadership, delivery, and accountability in focus as governments move from commitments to implementation.

Leadership in Focus: From Commitments to Delivery is about what happens next: how commitments are translated into action at global, regional, national, and community level.

Throughout 2026, the campaign will spotlight community and lived experience leadershipnational and regional action, sustainable financing, accountability, and practical examples of delivery and innovation.

Global Week 2026

Global Week for Action on NCDs will take place from 31 August to 4 September 2026.  Timed to coincide with the 3rd International Dialogue on Sustainable Financing for NCDs and Mental Health in the Philippines, this year’s Global Week will connect community advocacy and storytelling with global discussions on financing, implementation, accountability, and health system reform.

In the months leading up to the Global Week, the campaign will create opportunities for advocacy, storytelling, participation, and visibility, building toward Global Week as the central mobilisation moment.
