Project Overview:
The project aims to organize a virtual webinar on "Closing the Gap" for Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) with a focus on bridging the treatment and awareness divide. This event will feature top health professionals as speakers, including a nutritionist, a doctor, and a pharmacist. Additionally, individuals with personal experiences related to NCDs will share their journeys. Furthermore, as a part of our community outreach, we will provide essential medical equipment (e.g., glucometer or sphygmomanometer) to a Primary Healthcare Center (PHC) in Abia State, Nigeria. The project will culminate in an article submission to a media house to further disseminate the discussion and its outcomes.
