During the Global Week for Action on NCDs which runs from September 5 to September 11, we will focus on an array of activities and messages about NCD investment conforming to this years’ theme Invest to protect, with the goal of reducing NCDs' magnitude in the country and beyond.

By doing so, we will host a webinar that will bring together youth, NCD experts and advocates, people living with NCDs, and the media to spotlight the importance and the need for investing in NCDs. People living with NCDs will play an essential role in highlighting NCDs' financial constraints and proposed investment solutions, thus, NCD prevention and treatment can become more accessible to all.

Youth will be encouraged to use their social media platforms for communication, advocacy and be voices of changes. At the same time, the media will play an overriding role in amplifying the voices of people living with NCDs and NCD experts/advocates.

NCD experts and advocates (RNCDA team and members) will help to strategize advocacy messages and guide all activities. Furthermore, we aim to publish an op-ed newspaper commentary highlighting the investment needed to turn the tide on NCDs and alternative NCD financing.
