High blood pressure, high stakes: Translating commitment into lifesaving action
Blood pressure control is one of the world’s leading risk factors for death and disability. With 1.4 billion people living with hypertension worldwide, controlling high blood pressure in just 50% of people could prevent 76 million deaths by 2050 and save $100 billion annually in health care costs.
