Saloon Hypertension Assessment and Patient Education (SHAPE) Project

The SHAPE project addresses the urgent need for public education on hypertension, its risk factors, and the critical importance of screening and care. By implementing targeted educational interventions and enhancing community screening, we aim to ensure early diagnosis and timely care linkage. Leveraging local barbershops and salons—validated by successful studies in the United States—we can effectively reach a broad audience and promote better health outcomes within our community.
