The State of the Global Health Workforce event, moderated by ACC President Christopher Kramer, MD, FACC, explores the critical link between financing, workforce capacity and NCD care and is designed to foster multisectoral collaboration and policy innovation around sustainable, scalable solutions for ensuring equitable, high-quality care for people living with NCDs worldwide.

Keynote speaker Tom Frieden, MD, MPH, CEO of Resolve to Save Lives, will give an overview of the state of the global health workforce and panel discussants will present key findings of two health workforce reports and share personal experiences working in the community health setting.
