This media telebriefing, held a couple of weeks before the fourth UN High Level Meeting on NCDs and Mental Health, will be an opportunity to discuss policy solutions to bridge the NCD financing gap, and to highlight new data and civil society perspectives calling for stronger investment and leadership. Speakers will bring the views of academia, people living with NCDs, and civil society into the spotlight.

2025 is a “jubilee year” with NCDs at the top of the global health and development agenda. The fourth UNHLM on NCDs and Mental Health in September in New York will be a pivotal moment for political commitments and global cooperation. It is a crucial opportunity for civil society to hold their governments accountable, celebrate progress, and demand stronger commitments for action.
