Uniting efforts on noncommunicable diseases and maternal health: From integration to impact

Join us for a high-level panel discussion on the progress made in integrating maternal health and health promotion with strategies addressing NCDs. It will focus on specific, high-burden examples and include case presentations from low- and middle-income countries. Hosted in conjunction with the 4th High-Level Meeting on NCDs and the 80th UN General Assembly in New York, the event will bring together global leaders to analyse the critical intersection of maternal health and non-communicable diseases. We will analyse the bi-directional relationship between NCDs and maternal health, discuss integrated service delivery models, showcase real-world country-led innovations, and identify enablers and barriers to further integration from health system, multisectoral, and gender equity perspectives.
