"Climate and health can not be talked about in silos because they are connected."
- Seema Bali
In this latest Leadership Dialogue, Christie Oliver and Seema Bali explore the growing connection between climate, air pollution and health, and why these issues can no longer be addressed in isolation. The conversation highlights the impact of air pollution across the life course, from pregnancy and childhood through to older age, and examines the role of education, health literacy and community engagement in driving change. Drawing on examples from India, the discussion explores how young people can become powerful advocates for healthier environments and how governments, businesses, health professionals and communities all have a role to play in reducing exposure to harmful pollutants.
